Announcement

We announce the retirement of our Precedent Partner, Dr. Arittha Wikramanayake, effective 15th November 2021, after almost 25 years of exemplary service at the Firm.

Dr. Wikramanayake, together with the Senior Partners Mr. Naomal Goonewardena and Mr. Chanaka de Silva PC, founded the Firm in 1997 and since then, Dr. Wikramanayake led the Firm as its Precedent Partner in its journey to be one of the leading law firms in Sri Lanka, within this relatively brief period of time. We take this opportunity to thank Dr. Wikramanayake for his leadership and invaluable contributions to the Firm.

Upon his retirement from the Firm, Dr. Wikramanayake will continue in practice, and we wish him the very best in all his future endeavors.

The Firm will continue with Partners, Mr. Naomal Goonewardena, Mr. Chanaka de Silva PC, Mr. Aruna Samarajewa, Ms. Nirusha Ranjitkumar Ratnatunga and Ms. Peshala Attygalle.

Mr. Naomal Goonewardena, who is currently heading the Banking and Finance Division of the Firm will assume duties as the Precedent Partner of the Firm. In addition, the Corporate M&A practice of the Firm will also be headed by him, with the assistance of Partner Ms. Nirusha Ranjitkumar Ratnatunga.
